Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who is working with XDS110. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

I have few queries related to XDS110 to be used with TMS320F28065 Processor Board We are developing for ECU.

We are developing one ECU using TMS320F28065 microcontroller. While making the PCB, I want to keep a debug connector available on this PCB so that in future I should be able to connect XDS 110 probe to this connector for debugging. My problem is I am not able to find the CAD details of the debug connector from XDS110 side.

Yes, I need help about debug connection too.

I understand that there are two connectors on XDS, one 20 pin debug and second 14 pin aux, I want to understand which exactly to be used for debugging and flashing.

For the F2806x device, the 14-pin connection is the one you should utilize.

"Thanks a lot for the information provided. But 14 Pin header pin details as given in XDS110 datasheet has no JTAG connections as they are there on 20 pin connector."

Hi Ray,

The XDS110 User Guide provides the following table which shows the TI 14-pin adapter and the JTAG connections:

Here is a snippet from one of our schematics that lays out the connections of this 14-pin header.
