AM2634: Power consumption data

Hi experts, 

could you please share the total power consumption data on each power-supply pin? I can find power consumption data for some analog IPs and PWM from datasheet chapter 7.7, but please also provide a total number just like chapter 7.6.

Another question is that my customer found the current consumption of 1.2VDD will increase from 0.2A to 0.7A when connecting the target via debugger. The reason is the R5F's clock, right? The default clk source for R5F is WUCPUCLK 25MHz, and after using GEL file to connect the target, the clk of R5F core will be 400 MHz. I want to double confirm if the 0.7A is acceptable?

    Hi Will,

    Yes, we are working on enabling the power estimation tool. You are right that initially the R5F would be on WUCPUCLK of 25MHz and after switching the clock would be 400MHz. Could you please provide more details on the use case so that we can provide power estimation ? 

    Please provide more details on the usecase and on the followings :

    1. Number of CPUs used and % loading

    2.  General Peripherals used and % Loading including CPSW and ICSSM

    3. Control IPs used and % loading

    4. Expected Tj of operation for the application
