RM57L843: LwIP 1.4.1 and TCP_QUICKACK option

Hi,

My customer wants to know how LwIP 1.4.1 demo on RM57L responds to sockets with TCP_QUICKACK option.
TCP_QUICKACK is used on Linux or other platform and if it is enabled, ACK will be sent back immediately for each TCP reception.

Customer understood LwIP 1.4.1 does not have such option.
He wonders if communication partner is linux and TCP_QUICKACK is enabled, LwIP side can handle these immediate ACKs properly.

Hi Koichiro-san,

The demo doesn't use lwip socket APIs. I don't know how to use TCP_QUICKACK in the demo.

Hi QJ,

Customer is not asking how to use TCP_QUICKACK in the demo.
He is asking how LwIP handles the immediate ACK in case the communication partner side uses TCP_QUICKACK.

Could you ask someone LwIP experts in BU?

Hi QJ,

The customer wants to know followings:
1) The SW guys you consulted know TCP_QUICKACK feature itself?
2) They did not try to enable TCP_QUICKACK on the communication partner side, so they do not know the answer?

They haven't used TCP_QUICKACK before, so they don't know how to use it. As far as I knew, the TCP_QUCKACK is not implemented in lwip.
