MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM243X: Are there another SDK that don't include NDAs?

Did you try to download the MCU+ SDK for AM243x from here: MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM243X Software development kit (SDK) | TI.com? It does not need NDA!

I notice that the Licenses section of the AM243x MCU+ SDK 08.02.00 introduction contains a link to a SDK Software License Agreement (SLA) which mentions a NDA:

Perhaps it isn't clear how much of the SDK is covered by a NDA.

The SLA which mentioned NDA has the following scope:

1.	Scope. The information to be disclosed under this Security NDA ("Security Information") is described as:

(a)	all collateral including user guides, training material, presentations, and other documentation relating to the security features in or for semiconductor devices manufactured by or for TI (“TI Devices”), that accompany this Security NDA or that is provided in connection with this Security NDA and any updates or upgrades to such documentation, if any, provided to you at TI’s sole discretion; and

(b)	any security-related information disclosed in a semi-private E2E forum hosted by TI.

TI is the only party disclosing confidential information under this Security NDA.

It is only applicable to the Security related information.

If you are only use the General Purpose part of the MCU+ SDK. It should be OK.

I understand that only security information is within the scope of the NDA.

However, just looking at the security information in the SDK seems to be subject to NDA restrictions.

We want another SDK that has no security information and therefore no NDA clause.

The SDK is getting better and better, so I'd like TI to release the latest one that doesn't include NDA.

The security module has been added since MCU+ SDK 08.01.00.36, so the NDA clause has to be there. It i snot possible for TI to waive the security liability.

We are looking for a fast solution and do not need a security module.

We hope that by removing the security module from the SDK, there will be an SLA with no NDA and less obligation clauses.
