AM2634: typical power consumption

Dear Champs,

My customer found power consumption of AM2634 is 3W from the datasheet, but they expected typical power consumption is under 1.5W @125C.

Could you please let me know what is the usecase requiring 3W in AM2634?

Do we have a plan to release power estimation excel sheet like as other devices?

    Hi ,

    Sorry for the delayed response on this. Yes we would have power estimation tool like other devices and currently we are working on that to enable for this device. While we get to that point could you please help with the following details so that we could provide a rough estimate ? 3W is more of board design max type requirement. 

    Please provide more details on the usecase and on the followings :

    1. Number of CPUs used and % loading

    2.  General Peripherals used and % Loading including CPSW and ICSSM

    3. Control IPs used and % loading

    4. Expected Tj of operation for the application
