we are using TMS570lc4357 and the task profiling has been implemented using PUM counters, however sometimes the PUM counters are getting frozen and getting same value for different functions calls. when we check the overflow status flag, we didn't see any overflow condition. Could you please guide us how to resolve the issue?

The PMU counter is running, however it is getting frozen after sometime. Hence we unable to do task profiling. I have logged PMU counter value in SRAM and attached snapshot for your reference. The log start from 0x0807FF00 to 0x0807FFCC. There is no "WFI" instruction is used. I have not used NOP instruction as every read I'm logging data in SRAM.
Is it possible to view PMU counter in CCS ( Version: 11.1.0.00011 ) debug GUI?
Looking in CCS 11.2 when debugging a TMS570LC4357 program using the PMU Cycle Counter, in the debugger Registers view under Cp15 the CP15_CYCLE_COUNT displays the current Cycle Counter value:
There is also the CP15_PERFORMANCE_MONITOR_COUNT which I think will display the PMU counter selected by the PMSELR (Performance Monitors Event Counter Selection Register).
