AM2434: How to modify the LWIP example for custom board?

Hi,

the LWIP example in AM243x MCU-SDK 08.03.00.04 is very different from the old Versions SDK. Is there any porting guide bases on the current SDK to show, how to and what must be done to port the LWIP example(enet_lwip_icssg or enet_layer2_icssg) to other custom board from evm-board?

For example, how to use DP83826 Ethernet PHY, how to use PSRAM via GPMC instead of DDR, which possibilities there are to modify parameters of the example, usw.

Can you please provide me some more additional details here.

Are you comparing application with MCU-SDK 8.2 vs MCU-SDK 8.3 or MCU-SDK 8.3 vs Processor SDK RTOS?

Did you had a chance to look at migration guides available in documentation?(AM243x MCU+ SDK: Migration Guides)

Hi Mohan,

I mean MCU-SDK 7.3.*.. I can not find the old example anymore. It used to define "custom" ETHPHY with name of DP83826. But the new example does not create any ETHPHY in syscfg.

It has nothing to do with migration guides. The LWIP example does not working on our hardware. Because the example is implemented for EVM. I need some guide show me how to port the example to another hardware design. E.g. using DP83826, EMAC Switch mode, usw..

Sorry for the delay.

Our enet based icssg examples does not use the ETHPHY component from syscfg instead PHY driver is ported on to enet and used .

I am checking internally on this and will revert back with additional details on this at the earliest.

the document is not detailed enough. What must be done after new driver is added into the SDk? Can You show more detail bases on the lwip icss example?
