HET: changing of duty cycle from 100% to 0% doesn't work

Hello,

I am using the pwm generation on the RM44L920 platform using the HET module. I use the code generated by HAlcogen version 04.07.01.

The pwm generation works if the duty cycle is between 1%-100%. However if the duty cycle was set before to 100% by calling pwmSetDuty(), setting the duty cycle to 0% does not force the output pin low. The ouput pin keeps high.

Is this a known issue of HET that changing of duty cycle from 100% to 0% doesn't work?

Hi Chunyan,

It is a known issue. The HalCoGen PWM code has a limitation: transition from 0% -> 100% or from 100% to 0% fails.

please avoid switching directly from 100% to 0%, and do something like 100% --> 1% --> 0% instead in your software
