TMS570LC4357: Battery Management System

Part Number: TMS570LC4357
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76PL455A,

We are working on a battery system/charging architecture utilizing the BMS bq76PL455A and MCU TMS570LC4357.  We have not been able to find any BMS or MCU application information regarding driving Charging and Discharging MOSFETs from the MCU (presumably will require MOSFET Drivers).  Are any application and/or schematic examples/guidelines available?

Thank you!

  • Hi Barry,

The TMS570LC43x device features peripherals for real-time control-based applications, including two N2HET timing coprocessors, and 7 enhanced pulse width Modulator (ePWM) modules. Both can be used to generate PWM signals to control MOSFET.

Please check BMS team if they have example.
