TM4C1237H6PM: Silicon Revision

TM4C1237H6PMI Datasheet says "The silicon revision number is the last number in the part number". But for the p/n we ordered -- TM4C1237H6PMI, there is no such the last number on the part marking. Then what is the silicon revision?

Hello Steven,

The omission of a number at the end indicates Revision 6.

Then for a new design, which part should we use -- TM4C1237H6PMI or TM4C1237H6PMI7? Thanks!

Hi Steven,

Typical rule of thumb is to use latest revision but really unless you are using the EEPROM either is fine. If you use EEPROM, we strongly encourage the use of Revision 7 silicon.
