    Hi,

      Not really clear what you mean how long the function will be unavailable. Also what do you mean the device is locked. If the device is locked in the sense that prevents the debugger from connecting to it then it will just stay that way indefinitely. A lot of time a device is locked up because the device goes into low power mode with all the clocks shut down without a means to wake up. When this happens the debugger can longer connect to it because there is no internal system clock to synchronize with the JTAG clock.
