AM2434: Is it possible to increase shared memory size over 48KB?

Dear Champs,

Is it possible to increase the size of shared memory over 48KB?

My customer wants to increase IPC Buffer Size or number of buffers, but found it was limited by share memory size and the shared memory size was not increased over oxC000.

Is there any way to increase this shared memory size over 0xC000 in MCU+ SDK v8.2?

Hi SI,

I assume the customer is using IPC RPMSG and is looking at the below entries in the M4F/R5F linker command files for the shared memory?

RTOS_NORTOS_IPC_SHM_MEM : ORIGIN = 0x701D4000, LENGTH = 0x0000C000

IPC_VRING_MEM: ORIGIN = 0x701D4000, LENGTH = 0x0000C000

Did they follow the instructions here?

How did they determine the shared memory segment can't be increased beyond 0xC000? Did they encounter a compile-time or run-time error?
