Hi,

I have an encoder that I would like to read using the EQEP drivers (I am currently using interrupts and gpio), however when I try to get the eqep capture example to function I don't get any response (no response after App_eqepTestClockwiseDirection is called). I have connected the pins as described for the launch pad version.

Gpio1_56(Pin 4 of J13)	EQEP1_A(Pin 1 of J12)
Gpio1_57(Pin 5 of J13)	EQEP1_B(Pin 2 of J12)
Gpio1_58(Pin 6 of J13)	EQEP1_I(Pin 3 of J12)

I have also tried to just read a position from my encoder using the EQEP APi documentation with no luck.

Is there something I am overlooking?

Hi Jake,

Do you configure the Gpio1_56/57/58 to output signals which are used by eQEP?

Hi Wang,

Yes, and have verified that these are outputting voltage with a multimeter.

Hi QJ Wang,

I gave up trying to get the example to work and ended up using the gpio pins and hardware interrupts for my positional encoder.

Do you have any other suggestions/ideas as to how I might get the example to work, as ideally I would like to use the eQEP module for this.
