TMS570LC4357: Checker CPU Self Test not mentioned in Safety Manual?

Hi experts,

The Safety Manual lists a diagnostic "Lockstep Comparator (CCM) Self Test" but does not mention the Checker CPU.

(Q1) Does the "Lockstep Comperator Self Test) include the test of the Checker CPU as well or is just not necessary to run the Self test of the Checker CPU as well?

    Hi Max,

    The CCM self-test only covers the CCM compare logic, doesn't include the checker CPU. Any error in check CPU or primary CPU, the CCMR5F will detect it.

    CPU selftest (STC) is to test the CPU cores (CPU1 and CPU2).
