TM4C1292NCPDT: NO_SYS/TM4C129X: Is it possible to assign more than one IP address in NO_SYS ?

Hi,

I'm using in my project 'TM4C129X' and I want to assign two IP addresses to my board one for UDP communication and the other is for logging mechanism I do not want to use UART for this purpose and want to do it with networking. However, I can not find any information about if it's possible or not. Could you please help me about this issue? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Note: the running mode is NO_SYS mode.

Hi,

No, I don't think lwIP supports multiple IP addresses for the same NIC. Normally the ARP cache would map one IP to one MAC address. In this case, I think the ARP cache will be messed up. Here is a similar forum discussion of the same. https://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/lwip-users/2011-03/msg00024.html. I don't know how extensive you will need to modify lwIP and can't help you on that. Please open the question to lwIP forum on what would it take to accomplish what you need.
