Hi experts,
We are using the LIN1 as SCI and the Safety Manual suggest checking for errors during transmisson (frame error, bit error etc.). We know that some of the suggestions can be ignored because the errors are only valid for Lin-Mode, but the Technical reference sometimes suggests that bit error is valid for Lin and SCI and sometimes only for Lin. As far as I know a bit error is not part of the SCI interface.
For reference: Table 29-4 suggests bit error is applicable to SCI as well as the List above the table.
(Q1) Is this a mistake in the Technical Reference Manual?
