Part Number: TMDXRM57LHDK

Hi All

Please can you let me know what format the PCB layout is for spnr038.zip. I have tried to import RM57_hdk_reve.brd into AltiumDesigner AD22 as an Eagle design but it does not recognize the file. I have also tried to open the file in Eagle v9.6.2 and it responds with an error.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Hi Warren,

    The HDK is designed using Cadence Allegro 17.x.

    Thanks very much QJ Wang.

    It appears as if Altium needs the Cadence Allegro running on the PC to import the files format. I downloaded and installed the Design Viewer from Cadence but I am not  able to import the PCB with this - error windows indicates Cadence Allegro Installation not found. Do you know if anyone would be able to export the PCB into another format?

    HI Warren,

    I am sorry I don't have Allegro PCB editor on my machine. The RM57x launchpad was designed using Eagle. Is it ok to use launchpad PCB as your reference?

    I have managed to open the LaunchXL2-RM57 in Eagle - will try get this imported into Altium to use as the reference.

    Dear QJ

    I managed to import the LaunchXL2-RM57 into Altium so will use this for reference for future layout.

    Do you possibly have any of the Hercules HDK boards in Eagle format. I would like to confirm board layout as we intend using the HDK for a PoC on a development.
