Can the development tool CCS+ meet the requirements of ISO26262?

Or are there any recommended development tools?

Can CCS+ be used to compile the MACL and BSW of AutoSAR?

Is AM263x IDE also 26262 compliant like SafeTI？

I'm a little confused by what you mean CCS+ IDE. Can you point me to the link or anything? We only have Code Composer Studio (CCS) not with a plus at the end. Usually tools like EB Tresos or Vector Davinci Configurator are used for development of drivers with MCAL packages.

Hi Kowshik,

Sorry for the typo, Code Composer Studio (CCS) is correct,
Actually I have no experience with AUTOSAR,
But now there is a project to use AUTOSAR on AM263x,
I know about configuring BSW and MCAL with DaVinci, and designing SWC with Simulink,
But what I don't understand is how do I compile the file next.

So I want to know how to connect to CCS for compilation and load after configuring BSW and MCAL with DaVinci?

Hi Johns,

Apologies for delayed response, I've been internally checking with MCAL experts on your question. Here is what I got from them,

Once you integrate the MCAL into the BSW with Vector DE, you'll need a make file based bild environment to compile these files. You'll be able to see a MakeSuppoprt folder in your Vector DE folders and using that you need to create a makefile which builds all the components including the MCAL, Os, EcuM etc.,

Once you build the files, you'll be getting a .out file which can be then used to load into your board using the CCS studio. You cannot directly build applications using the vector packages and CCS.
