MCU with a MIPI-DSI capability

Hello, team.

My KMM customer wants to switch from STM32F469 to another solution, because the delivery date for this micro is shifted to 2027.

The main requirement for the alternative is to have a build-in display serial interface (MIPI-DSI).

I've checked several parts including TM4Cxxx, MSP432xxx, AM33xx and others, but didn't find any similar display module with differential signaling.

Could you please advise, if any TI MCU can be proposed as a substitution for STM32F469 with the specified display module onboard?

What about STM32F479? Does that have delivery date issue too?

Hello Zain,

STM32F479 is an ST Micro device, not TI. However, the MSP432 is a similar device:

Hi Slava,

Did you finalized your solution here?

AM33x does have the display interface, but it's parallel interface - RGB888/565, need bridge solution to support MIPI-DSI.

Hi Steven, thank you for your interest.

Actually customer already has a different MCU, which makes him to use an additional bridge device too.

So I tried to find a bridgeless solution from TI.
