TMS570LC4357: SPI cant be configured when NOT in multibuffered mode

Hi experts,

We are having problems configurating the ECC of the MibSPI-Modules. After some trying we figured out, that the PAR_ECC_CTRL Register can only be written in Multi-Buffer mode.

(Q1) Does this mean that we always need to use SPI in Multi-buffer mode instead of copatible mode, if we want to use the ECC Feature?

That is correct, If you want to configure ECC then you have to configure MibSPI in Multi-buffer mode instead of compatible mode.

There are available examples to configure ECC in Multibuffer mode of MibSPI at SafeTI Diagnostic Library, You can refer below thread to understand this
