TMS570LC4357: Fault Injection of LBIST does not lead to ESM 1.27

Hi experts,

When executing the failure injection of the LBIST test, we get the expected error except the ESM 1.27 flag.

(Q1) Should ESM 1.27 be set after executing the Self-test Controller Diagnostic (LBIST wit FAULT_INS set)?

HI Max,

My understanding is that the ESM 1.27 is generated from the STC self-check too.

Hi QJ,

We set FAULT_INS and SELF_CHECK_KEY and then activate the test by setting STC_ENA and the set CPU in idle. We get the flags we want with this, but no ESM 1.27

Do you have any idea what could cause this issue?

The ESM 1.27 is set in my STC self-check test.
