ok....

just want to configure the LIN1 and LIN2 modules as uarts ..i.e. select this

think every thing is setup...nothing fancy...

the pin mux is selected as this:

compile in halcogen...

pull into code composer

and I get this compilation failure:

what am I missing????? i know it is something stupid simple...

Hi JY,

If the revision of HALCoGen you are using is not 4.07.01, please download and install the latest version.

If the LIN1/SCI1 and LIN2/SCI2 are configured as UART or SCI, the HALCOGen will not generate HL_lin.c, you can delete this file from your project.

If you want to keep HL_lin.c, please delete HL_lin.h an dHL_lin.c first, then re-generate them using HAL.
