Hello,

This is a question regarding used CRC Module for hardware calculation.

We are planning utilized 3rd party compiler.

Genellary, 3rd party compiler is only installed CRC calculate function up to CRC32.

However, CRC hardware calculation of TMS570LC4357 is only supported CRC64-ISO(refer to SPNU563A), right?

We understand TI provided compiler is supported CRC64-ISO.

If we use 3rd party compiler, is there method of calculated CRC64-ISO?

You are correct. CRC64 is used on this device, the primitive polynomial is: f(x) = x^64 + x^4 + x^3 + x + 1

Probably not. Please check with the 3rd party.

Thank you for your response.

We have understood primitive polynomial, and already tried calculation on web-site.

However, this crc value is not matched the crc value using TI provided compiler.

Let me confirm about parameters of crc calculation.

If we are manual calculation of crc value to be calculated by algorithm of TMS570_CRC64_ISO, is following parameters correct?

Bit length : 64
Input reflected : 0
Result reflected : 0
Polynomial : 0x000000000000001B
Initial Value : 0x0000000000000000
Final Xor Value : 0x0000000000000000
