Hi there,
I'm currently supporting the design of a new avionics system and we're in the part selection phase of the project. A requirement for the product is that it can operate at -55 C, but also that we use RoHS compliant parts. I see that a SnPb solder is the only option that is offered on the TMS570LC4357-EP and it says it is not RoHS compliant. Is this the only reason that the -EP is not RoHS compliant? Is using SnPb solder the reason that the TMS570CL4357-EP has an extended operation range to -55 C from the standard part that stops at -40 C or are the parts binned in some way?
Thanks!
