TMS570LC4357: SPI do not work

Hi Patrick,

I don't see where you are calling the "mibspiSetFunctional" and "mibspiSetFunctional" functions to set data and transfer data respectively. The clock will generate only while sending the data and ideally it would be in its default state only.

You can just refer MibSpi loop back example which is present in

I have implemented the example and can see that the loopback works fine. However, I still can't detect any clock signal by measurement.

On which pin you are probing the signal? 
Which device is using for measurement?

Are you verifying while sending the data?

I measure during the transmission on the pins CLK, CS0 SOMI and SIMO. For this I use the Analog Discovery 2 (digilent.com/.../start).

The loopback code using in example is a digital loopback, so the clock signal may not get on to the pin level.

I modified that code little bit and attaching here, please test this attached code. I dont have test setup with me right now, so i cant test at my end. I will go to the office on this tuesday onwards.

Also please make sure you are tapping MibSPI1 clock signal at F18 pin of the controller.

If you are using HDK board of TI then it is terminated at 6th pin of J9 connector
