Hi I've configured my environment and I'm trying to run Ethernet Bootloader(available on git ti) for TMS570LC4357 Launchpad. While flashing I get the following error message.

According to the datasheet, ECC data region matches with my map. I haven't changed anything but configuration settings. What's the problem?

Two things to check:

1. The example project uses linker script to generate ECC, so you need to uncheck the "Auto ECC generation" when loading the program to flash:

2. To enable the ECC generation option in CCS

CCS project property --> Build --> ARM Linker --> Advance Options --> Linker Output

In the Linker Output panel, select "on" for "Control whether ECC generation is on or off"

Thanks, I've disabled Auto ECC generation. However, now it gives following error. Memory write failed: Flash verification failed.
Note: It works when I change 'Flash verification settings' to none but I'm not sure this is right thing the do.

6 years ago in Bus ECC ESM error signaled on TMS570LC4357 with cache enabled when read from a partially programmed cache line in flash queried the need to set "Flash Verification" to None, in case there was a failure in programming the flash which then wasn't reported.

The issue was believed to be in the CCS flash loader. Not sure if a bug was raised on CCS.
