RM48L950: HET-IDE freezes after opening a new project

Hello there

I have a project where I need to use a small het program to measure a gated pulse width modulated signal.

For this I need to program the HET. The problem is, when I try to edit the assembly program in het-idee

the ide freezes and is not possible to work further. I tried on all fresh installed Microsoft Operating systemss including the old Windows 7 and

I had the same issues.

I found on this forum an old post (7 years ago) regarding to this issue and an unofficial patch. Unfortunately the link with the

patch is not available anymore.

Could somebody help me with this issue?

Hi Sandor,

The V03.05.01 is the latest version of HET IDE. It works under windows 10, 7, and windows xp.

Are the correct HET assembler used in your HET IDE? Please check them at HET IDE-->Tools-->Options:

Can you please share the link mentioned in your post? Does the re-installation of HET IDE help solve the problem?

Hello QJ.

I checked the settings mentioned by you and it is the same (default configuration set by the installer)

I can assemble the program from the ide.

Regarding to the link mentioned, I followed the following thread, hoping that it solve my issue which is similar

Other info what can be useful. I tested on different windows platforms running with and without antivirus software. I also tried to run as admin

Hi Sandor,

I have been using HET IDE for many years on different PCs with different OS (windows XP/7/10), I never saw this kind of problem. Does un-installation and re-installation help?

You said you can assemble the code. Can you load the assembled HET program? When you load the program, is the SynaptiCAD waveViewer window open?
