Hi,
I would change the ball N2 of the micro controller RM57L843ZWT.
I want to use the pin SCI3TX instead of N2HET1[13].
I have to change the value of register PINMMR31 from 0x1010101 to 0x1010201.
I followed the “Kicker mechanism” to change the register PINMMR31 and it’s work well.
But at the end the SCI3TX is not connected to the ball N2.
What can I do?

Hi Jerome,
Did you disable the kicker mechanism after the Pinmux write, like as below.
Are you not using HALCoGen in your application, It is a GUI for pin configuration and driver configuration. After doing required configuration we can generate the code from this tool.

Yes I used HALCoGen sometime and it’s working well when using the C language.
But now I want to write a project fully in assembly language and it’s why I want to modify the pinmux by assembly code. The following code writes correctly in the register PINMM31.
After the writing, the code disables the kicker mechanism.
But no SCI signal goes out to the ball N2.
