TMS570LS1114: memcpy/memset in SDRAM not working

Part Number: TMS570LS1114

memcpy/memset is not working properly when data is written into SDRAM.

The form post above is relatively old (8 years) and it sounded like the problem has been fixed already.

Does the "--no_stm" option still need to be included or why does this problem still occur for me and what are the solutions for it?

If i compile with the --no_stm option i get the following error:

[build] "C:\Users\B091060\AppData\Local\Temp\{9943D1C9-BED3-40A1-97E5-742354FE1EE2}", ERROR!   at EOF: [E0300] The following symbols are undefined:
[build] 1 Assembly Error, No Assembly Warnings
[build]   memset
[build]

Hi Enes,

The issue is fixed in the latest version of silicon. Can you please configure the external memory as "device" instead of "normal" mode.
