Hi,

I'm planning to purchase LAUNCHXL2-570LC43 to evaluate the TMS570LC4357 family of MCU.

I'm wondering whether any additional hardware is required for flashing software or to debug (real time register values / memory monitoring activities) the MCU on the evaluation board (LAUNCHXL2-570LC4).

Please let me know.

Apologies if the question has already been answered. I couldn't find any similar thread.

Hi Kanhu,

LAUNCHXL2-570LC43 has a built-in JTAG emulator (XDS110), you don't need any other HW to load the code to flash to debug.

The board does have a silkscreen of 20-pin JTAG header. If you want to use an external emulator, the 20-pin JTAG header needs to be populated.

You can use TI CCS or uniflash to load code to TMS570LC43x internal flash.

Yes, you can use the built-in xds110 emulator for debug.
