TMS570LC4357: MSP16: 1-bit and 2-Bit Error on SPI ECC-Error test when injecting 1-bit error

Part Number: TMS570LC4357

Hi experts,

When injecting a 1-Bit error into the ECC of the SPI-Modul (Diagnostic MSP16 mentioned in the Safety Manual) we consistently get an ESM 1.17 and ESM 1.77 error.
We are expecting just ESM 1.77.

When injecting a 2-bit error we just get ESM 1.17 as expected.
This behaviour seems to be similiar the behaviour of the VIM and DMA ECC Test that we noticed and discussed here:

(Q1) Can you confirm, that a ESM 1.17 and 1.77 is to be expected when injecting a 1-bit error into SPI ECC?

Thank you and best regards,
Max
