UNIFLASH: Getting an 'ACK Failed' error message

Part Number: UNIFLASH
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ENERGIA, CC3200,

Hi Team,

Good day! Could you help our customer's concern below.

I ve been getting an 'ACK Failed' error message when I try to burn the firmware using Uniflash for CC3200 launchpad. As per the instructions given in the FTDI site, I tested the FTDI utility for RS232 to rectify this. As the test results were negative I just moved back to try an example firmware which worked perfectly fine earlier, using Energia. But after this test my PC fails to identify the board itself in Device Manager and 'Bootlader attempt failed' error pops up. Please guide me on this as soon as possible.

Best regards,

Jonathan

  • Hi Jonathan,

Our tools guy who can answer this is currently out and will return in couple of days - he'll respond as soon as he is back.

Please verify that the SOP lines are as expected.

  • Hi,

I hope the FTDI template was not flushed when you used the FTDI utility.

Do you get any error on the device manager? even if the template is flushed, you should get something.

Did you use the FTprog utility? If so, can you share the outcome of getting the template from the device?
