I dropped down to CCS 10.1.1 to use our MSP430P401R's. Our company has a large, valuable stock of devices with MSP432P401R's, and I understand they're not being sold anymore, but we are not able to build a project to flash them in CCS.
After working with this, and editing this post, I have determined that now, my biggest issue is that I did not use the P4 SDK 3.40 INSTALLER. I just copied and pasted the files from a co-worker's computer.
I now believe that I need to use the installer for various reasons. CCS is not recognizing the SDK when I try to add the P4 SDK as a "product".
Does anyone have access to the Installer?
When I go to add my SDK 3.40 as a "product" in General Settings (via 'Preferences'), I select the directory with the SDK in it, and SDK P4 3.40 is not recognized.
I understand the part is obsolete, but we have thousands of dollars tied up in this design, and it doesn't seem right that I cannot flash my Microcontrollers. Any help would be appreciated.
