Hi experts,
I have two questions about ESM:
1. The behavior of error pin under PWM mode: if the device is in normal operational mode the error pin will toggle with a configured frequency and width, but if the device was detected with some failure, the error pin will stop toggling and will maintain the state (no matter if it is 1 or 0) before the failure, right?
2. In customer design, the error pin will connect to external PMIC or SBC. They want to know the reset output of PMIC or SBC should connect to whether PORz or WARMRST pin? Do we have any recommendation? Since in ESM description, the error pin's state will be re-asserted in PORz reset but not WARMRST reset.
Regards,
Will
