SIMPLELINK-MSP432-SDK: Missing in the resource explorer

Hello,
I have purchased the MSP432 P401R LaunchPad and I am trying to program it. I have installed the CCS v.12 and I have connected the launchpad to my laptop. The board is detected but in the resource explorer there are no resources related to the board. The SimpleLink is missing. I downloaded it by myself from your website and ran the .exe file that got downloaded and nothing changed. I checked for updates from the help menu and did everything there. I have attached what I get in the resource explorer window. Could you please help me ASAP because I have a deadline to meet?

For reasons which are not clear, the TI Resource Explorer is no longer showing the SimpleLink MSP432P4 SDK.

With CCS 10 was able to still import an example by using Project -> New CCS Project - see https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/arm-based-microcontrollers-group/arm-based-microcontrollers/f/arm-based-microcontrollers-forum/1033545/simplelink-msp432-sdk-missing-msp432p-sdk/3851542#3851542

I haven't yet tried that with CCS 12.

Hi,

MSP432P has been EOL'ed. This is the reason the latest CCS version do not support this device anymore. As suggested by Chester, please use earlier CCS version to import MSP432P examples.
