TMDSEMU110-U: XDS110 probe to TMS320: Need isolation?

Hi Experts,

Good day.

We are trying to monitor the converter on real-time we have connected the XDS110 probe to TMS320 and we can able to see real-time values once the converter is switched on it shows that it is not able to load data. Please confirm do we need to use isolation between JTAG and MCU?

In general, isolation does help minimize the impact of switching noise on the JTAG connection. However, it's not a guarantee. The impact of switching noise on the MCU power rails, JTAG pins, reset, etc. could also be contributing to the loss of JTAG connectivity.
