MIBSPIA hardware Failure AWR2943

Hello All,

I am using AWR2943 Target, and I am trying to enable MIBSPIA that communicating with PMIC. but it did not work with me or with others so is this peripheral works fine or there is something missed with my implementation.

and if there are any document or steps illustrating the steps will be great.

Also, when I tried to test the clocks generated from SPI "TP201" it is always one and no clocks generated.

So please I need help on this part.

Hello Amir,

So can you try installing the new SDK 4.3.0.1 which has a fix for the MIBSPIA issue.
You will be able to communicate with the PMIC with the new SDK that has been released.

Hello Amir,

There was an issue with the pinmuxing, where it was initializing some of the other PADS as well. So, it fixed it by disabling the ones that were activated unintentionally.

We are not using the SDK in our implementation, we are using the latest MCAL (mcal_02_00_04_00), So is this issue as well found in the SPI driver delivered in this MCAL?

The fix provided in the SDK is also applicable to the MCAL and will be fixed in the next version of MCAL.
