Here's some questions form the customer:
Now that we're ready to select TI's TMS570,
1.Want to know if the program can run off-chip SDRAM? Is it communicating over EMIF?
2.Can I configure the boot from an off-chip PROM? If it does not start off-chip, can I put the Boot program on-chip, and the application out-of-chip?
3.What is the TID metric for the TMS570 to be irradiated?
Could you help check this case?

This device doesn't support booting from SRAM.
The device should boot from flash, and bootloader can upload the application to flash through DCAN, UART, SPI, Ethrenet etc.
If you'd like to execute the code in SRAM, you need to copy the code from flash to external SRAM. The SRAM has to be configured as normal memory type. Instructions cannot be executed from regions with Device or Strongly Ordered memory type attributes.

I don't see any PROM interfaces over EMIF in past, the EMIF mainly used for below memories interfaces
3.What is the TID metric for the TMS570 to be irradiated?
