MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM263X: AM263x IPC RPmessage thread safe

Dear all,

we are planning to use provided IPC RPmessage library in a FreeRTOS project on Sitara AM263x MCU. 

Is this a thread safe library or do we need to implement our own safe mutex to synchronize the usage between tasks?

we are using:

mcu_plus_sdk_am263x_08_04_00_17
