Yes, that is correct. Our launchpads typically come with an external SPI flash with 1 MB capacity.

Each technology (e.g. BLE, Zigbee, Matter) may have their own mechanisms for OTA.

Our Matter device implements OTA Requestor. If it detects an OTA Provider and that there is a new image, then it can begin the OTA process.
