AM2634: How to configure GPIO push-pull, open-drain, and high-impedance

According to TRM, we dont have option to choose GPIO as open drain, except for the I2C pins.

Please refer to Register Addendum of AM263 for configuring Push up and Pull Down for GPIO. It is done through IO_MUX regisster. (Pin Mux).

The same thing is being configured in the syscfg tool as you have shared in the picture.

To manually configure this without Syscfg, we need to unlock the MMR registers.

Unlock the MMR Regsiter

Configure required IO MUX,

Lock the MMR registers

By default, Internal Pull Resistor  is enabled. 

By default It is Pull Down.

Please refer to the PUPDSEL Bit of the Register.

Hey Ben,

This is correct. The GPIO control registers are separate from the IOMUX registers. The associated IOMUX pad configuration registers will need to be configured based on GPIO use-case requirements.
