Will TI be creating a USB DFU SBL example? If so, when is it expected to be added?

    Hi Traveler,

    The MCU+ SDK USB solution will be based on the TinyUSB stack. Currently only CDC-ACM is supported and verified. The USB DFU support is in the TinyUSB stack, but we have not verified it for AM243x/AM64x. The schedule to support and verify USB DFU via TinyUSB is yet to finalized. It most likely will be some time in 2023.

    Meanwhile, since the TinyUSB porting layer has been implemented, you can certainly try it out by yourself.

    As of the USB DFU SBL support, I am not sure when it will be supported, because it also involves the flash image updating and switching.

    There is a third party commercial quality solution for USB DFU (including SBL) from MCCI. You are welcome to contact Terry at tmm@mcci.com
