TM4C1233H6PM: Does TM4C1233H6PM processor have dedicated PWM?

We used the TM4C123GH6PM processor in our previous boards. Due to the stock problem, we considered switching to this TM4C1233H6PM processor, but we realized that the TM4C1233H6PM does not have a PWM peripheral in this processor. However, when we examined it in detail, we saw that the GPT module has PWM feature.

Our question here is, does the TM4C1233H6PM have PWM capability? If yes, how is it different from PWM in TM4C123GH6PM?

    Hi,

      Your understanding is correct. TM4C1233H6PM does not have dedicated PWM modules but have GPT (general purpose timer) that can be configured for PWM functionalities. You can generate simple PWM using GPT but if you are looking to generate sophisticated PWM outputs such as dead-band then the integrated PWM module in TM4C123GH6PM will facilitate the application much easier.
