I cannot find any information on how to configure the settings for VREF Control in the documents you mention.

More information for DDR4 can be found in the J7200 documents. Additional various registers information can be found in the TRM, and various settings information can be found in the documentation for the DDRSS Register Configuration Tool (Spreadsheet).

Can the J7200 documents be referenced for AM64x and AM243x?

I am not sure the DDR4 IP for J7ES and AM243x are the same or not. I will need to confirm it with the IP team, right now they are all in vacation. Can I get back to you after the New Year?

Our customer wants to know how to configure some of the settings in the DDR Subsystem Register Configuration in SysConfig Tool. They especially want to know how to configure the settings for VREF Control.

I checked with the DDR4 IP owner. He said the DDR4 IP used for J7 and AM243x are completely different, therefore the Jacinto 7 DDRSS Register Configuration Tool (Spreadsheet) CANNOT be referenced for AM64x and AM243x.

Fortunately, we may also have AM243x DDRSS Register Configuration Tool (Spreadsheet) available. We are checking for the availability of it. We will get back to you as soon as we locate the tool.

I am still waiting for the AM243x DDRSS Register Configuration Tool (Spreadsheet) from the HW Apps team. Once I get it, I will forward it to you.

TRM and the AM243x DDRSS Register Configuration Tool (Spreadsheet) are the only document and tool for DDR settings.

Similar information should be provided for the DDR Subsystem Register Configuration Tool (SysConfig or Spreadsheet) for AM64x and AM243x as in the documentation (SPRACU8) for the Jacinto 7 DDRSS Register Configuration Tool (Spreadsheet).

If it is not immediately provided, could you tell me how to configure the VREF Control settings?

The following is described in SPRACU8 on how to configure the VREF Control settings, can this description be applied for AM64x and AM243x?
