MSPM0L1306: Connecting comparator output to UART RX

Part Number: MSPM0L1306

Hi everyone,

we are currently working with the MSPM0L1306SDYY. We now want to connect the comparator output to the UART RX input pin. Unfortunately, with this package the comparator output cannot be assigned to any pin.

Hence we use a publisher channel to trigger an event whenever the comparator output changes its state. A GPIO is then connected to this channel (toggles on event) and connected to the UART RX pin by hardware.

This solution works in general. However, I was thinking whether there is a more direct and simple way to connect the Comparator output to the UART RX input pin. Have I overseen something here?

Best regards and thank you very much for your response in advance
