I have received an AUTOSAR MCAL version MCAL_AM263x_00.09.00_05  after requesting from the below link.

Now few questions on this regards,

1) Are we allowed to use this driver for development and production ? because i found below table in the manifest.

2) Is it possible to configure the  MCAL driver with Vector Davinci tools ? or is it mandatory to use the EB Tresos for MCAL configuration ?

    You can use this code for the development and production, however be aware that the MCAL for AM263x is not yet safety certified and it'll be done in future. Hence TI will be making the incremental bug fixes and feature additions to the existing package.

    Yes, TI provides the VectorDE compatibility through the ".arxml" plugins, however you need to contact vector to get their SIP package and integrate to the VectorDE configurator tool, natively the MCAL's from TI side support the EB tresos configurator.

    thanks for clarifying.

    One question, if we want to use EB tresos for MCAL configuration, will it be possible for us the get the EB license from TI ? If yes, please mention the duration and cost involved if any.

    Hi Bikash,

    The EB tresos user license can be provided by TI , you can request a license by mailing at mcusw_eb_tresos_license_request@list.ti.com , please state your Name, use case and company name.

    Also wanted to know if there is any cost associated with the AUTOSAR MCALs ?

    There is no cost in any form associated to using our MCAL software from TI side.

    Hi again Kowshik,

    If I understood correctly with EB tresos user license we shall be able to do the MCAL configuration and generation?

    also it will be very helpful if you can let me know where we can fine the EB License activation tool and EB configurator tools.

    Hi Bikash,

    In the MCAL package you've got, please go to the below path mcal_config/ElektroBit/installer and you'll find the license tools and EB tresos tool there. You can unzip these and then install them. 

    Then once you get the license from us, enable it and use the plugins.
