MSP432E401Y: Best IC's to use for more I/O points and RS-232

Hi,

We have some MSP432E401Y based applications that require more I/O points than the MSP432E401Y has available. We also have applications that require an RS232 interface.

Can anyone recommend the best IC's to use for these applications?

I suppose you are looking for I/O expander IC, not a different MCU that has more I/Os than MSP432E. If this is the case, you can start with this product search webpage.
