MSPM0L1106: Internal Vref reference value

STM measures its interal reference voltage with a predefined Vcc during Production.

Will the following feature (shown in the picture) be available at MSPM011, too ?

This feature allows you to monitor supply voltage by measuring internal supply voltage with ADC. I did not find anything about it within the datasheet.

Hi Alexander,

This "feature" looks to just be the calibration values of the VREF. For our device you can monitor the supply voltage and we have a code example of this as well.

You would want to enable the internal VREF and have the VREF at 1.4V. The supply monitor uses VDD/3 (this is in the ADC section of the datasheet), so with a supply voltage of 3.6 the max would be 1.2V, which won't be FSR of your VREF. By using the 1.4V internal reference as your VREF then the supply monitor would work correctly across all operational voltages ranges of the device and won't be impacted by any voltage changes on VDD.

If they have access to the SDK I suggest looking at the adc12_monitor_supply example.

Hi Luke,

will this calibration value be available on Ti MSPM0 ? If yes, In which register will I find this value ?

Hi Alex,

This calibration data won't be stored in a register but the devices are trimmed for accuracy.
