LP-AM243: MCU SDK supported version

Hi,

My customer is evaluating LP-AM243 and he has board rev. PROC109E2 and PROC109E3.

Q1) According to release note, supported rev. is PROC109E2.
https://www.ti.com/tool/download/MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM243X/08.05.00.24

This SDK support AM243x EVM and AM243x LP PROC109E2 board revision.

Is it OK to use PROC109E3? E3 is also supported without an issue?

Q2) The customer found ethernet does not work on PROC109E2.
On the other hand, PROC109E3 works fine. Why?

Q1) The MCU+ SDK 08.05.00 should support both E2 and E3 of AM243x LP.

Q2) There are some HW changes from E2 to E3.

For Q2, is it possible to use Ethernet on E2 with hardware or software modification at customer side?

Hi Koichiro- San,

I would recommend to use E3 version of board as new MCU SDK version(Specially ethernet based examples) will only support E3 version and it would make portability difficult.
