AM2434: Getting SYSCONFIG to output a summary of pins in Text/CSV/Excel format

Googling, there is a similar question sometime ago on this forum pertaining to an older version of C2000 Syscfg. It says the summary.xls is automatically generated and put with the generated files.

Using SYSCONFIG inside CCS12.2 with MCU PLUS SDK AM243X 08 05 00 24 there is no generates summary.xls (or any xls or csv files I can find) and I can see no option to enable this anywhere.

Can this be done?

Is it an option in the SYSCONFIG UI?

Is it a command line switch I need to add to SYSCONFIG in the build?

    Hello Andy,

    MCU+SDK for AM243x does not currently generate this pinmux summarization file, we will file a request internally to have this file generated by default along with the other generated output files.

    However, if you use the generic PinMux tool in SysConfig (meaning, don't use a "Software Product" and directly select the AM243x device from the SysConfig start menu), and configure your device pinmux settings from there, the PinmuxConfigSummary.csv file with similar information will be generated.

    Note that MCU+SDK was not developed by the same team as C2000 SysConfig and therefor had a different set of requirements and output files.

    The MCUSDK-9653 issue has been filed to drive this feature in to the MCU+SDK.
